Spreading Comfort & Nourishment…

Dear Spud Supporters,

We are absolutely thrilled to share our very first Tater Talk blog post with you, celebrating a heartwarming milestone in our mission to make a difference. Thanks to your incredible support and generosity, we recently had the opportunity to deliver several group meals to our homeless neighbors in need. The experience was nothing short of magical, and we couldn't wait to tell you all about it!

Last week, with excitement and gratitude, our team embarked on a mission to bring comfort and nourishment to those facing homelessness in our beloved San Diego community with the help of Healthcare in Action. The menu for the day was carefully crafted to provide warmth and love with every bite. Picture this - hearty meatloaf, creamy mashed potatoes, and a vibrant garden salad bursting with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It was a meal that touched not only the taste buds but also the hearts of all who received it.

…the meatloaf and mashed potatoes! My God! Oh yeah, keep those people coming back! Thank you

As our home-cooked goodness was delivered to those in need, the response was truly overwhelming. It's moments like these that remind us why we started small potatoes foundation in the first place - to make a meaningful impact and spread compassion wherever it's needed.

The feeling of reward and fulfillment in being able to offer a comforting meal to those who often go without cannot be put into words. It's beyond measure. Each interaction, every word of gratitude exchanged, reaffirmed the importance of what we do and the immense difference we can make together.

Your donations, time, and belief in our cause made this heartwarming experience possible. Every dollar, every hour volunteered, and every word of encouragement contributed to the success of this endeavor. We are deeply grateful for your part in helping us create positive change and spread kindness throughout our community.

With this successful milestone under our belt, we are more inspired than ever to continue our weekly mission with even greater passion and dedication. The road ahead may have its challenges, but knowing we have such a supportive and caring community behind us gives us the strength to push forward, making a lasting impact on the lives of those in need.

The clients were very happy to receive the meals and one member mentioned he couldn’t remember the last time he had a home cooked meal
